Fugu

This sculpture is made from old news papers, card board and recycling materials.
It's inspired by all the underwater creators I have seen during my diving trips. Like the pufferfish (Tetraodontiformes) who inflates themselves when threatened and the related porcupine fish; which also possess spines; behave in the same way. Some well-known species include Fugu rubrics and Tetraodon nigroviridis.

It is approximate 25-30 cm) and painted and varnished with Amsterdam / Expert acrylics and varnish from Royal Talens
